Oct 13, 2023: Quorum of the twelve devotional

 We were extremely blessed to be able to hear from at 12 in the Tuesday devotionals. If 

This week was another grind week. It was fast Sunday which was a little tough but still very good. I got my visa so I will be going straight to Mexico which is awesome. I have been playing volleyball a lot which is sick my district has become pretty good so it super fun. The mtc has been a lot of classes. It's about 7 hours a day and it completely in espanol which is tough sometimes but it's also very helpful in learning Spanish. My spanish has been getting way better its still not the greatest but it's better than I would expected it to Be. I know this I'd because of the gift of tongues. Our class is close to the top of the building and is facing the stadium and the lake so there usually is a really good sunset each night which is awesome. The devotional on Tuesday was given by Elder Gong and it was amazing. That was definitely the highlight of the week. 

Spiritual thought

My thought this week comes from elder gongs message. 

Two things from his message that I really like and think apply to everyone is that the gospel of christ is a gospel of joy. The other that christ is the good shepherd and the lamb of god. He knows what it is like to be us and He will do everything that he possibly can to gather people to his gospel. Elder Gong also shared a quote from a song called Dear to the heart of the shepherd and I invite yall to listen to it.
