Nov 20, 2023: All the animals here hate me

 I want to start off by saying that if anyone knows a way to hand wash clothes really well and fast please let me know. 

The reason i am asking is because it seems that to all the lizards and birds my blonde hair is the perfect target for their crap. So yeah thats been fun.  

these past few weeks have been a grind. 

last week for pday we went to a water fall called bridal veils which was super. and super sad cause all i wanted to do was swim at the bottom of the waterfall and i couldn't so yeah. 

Tuesday and Wednesday we has to travel to Tuxtla which is like three hours away and last time we took a super nice bus and it was lit so i was excited to take a nap in a bus and we got to the bus station and found out we were taking a combi to Tuxtla so we squished into that which was completely full for both the way there and back so a total of like 8 hours. but while we were in Tuxtla we got KFC, which was probably the best chicken sandwich i've ever had cause its all that i have wanted since i have been in Mexico, and little Caesars so it was worth it and we played cover your assets with the APs. I now can legally live in Mexico for a year so yeah thats good

we were able to work the rest lf the week so it was good. 

sunday we were asked to give talks in church and normal i don't like writing talks but this time i didn't mind and actully wrote it really fast and translated it in to spanish. the fun part was saying it because my spanish is so bad and most of the time people don't understand that i'm saying so i hope that they were able to get something put of it.

Spiritual thought this week is from my talk and is about jesus example of loving everyone can help us live your lives better and perhaps one of his greatest examples of love is when on the cross while suffering for the sins of the world, he looked to those that carried out the devastating act of crucifying a savior and said to his father, forgive them for they know not what they do. These men were in the middle of mocking him and gambling for his clothes. And still he forgave them. We can show our love to others by following the example of Christ and always forgiving others  No matter what it is they have done. the mission has given me the opportunity to live a little more like Jesus did and love everyone. and i notice that the days that o do this i have a better day.
